Getting Ready at the Hilton Puerto Vallarta

Today I’m sharing a beautiful and emotional day: the Hilton Puerto Vallarta wedding of Cheyanna and Kurt. From the very beginning, everything took place on-site, which made the entire experience feel seamless, intimate, and full of energy from start to finish.

Cheyanna got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids, and emotions were already running high. There was a quiet moment with her mom where both of them teared up, one of those anticipatory moments that always hit deeply on a wedding day.

Meanwhile, Kurt was with his groomsmen, and let’s just say, with that many guys in one room, the party had already started. A few shots later, the mood was set. Once he was ready, we took some time for portraits, and he absolutely owned the moment.

A Father-Daughter First Look to Remember

Back in the bridal suite, mimosas were flowing and laughter filled the room. When Cheyanna finally got into her dress, she looked absolutely stunning.

One of the most powerful moments of the day was her first look with her dad. He’s a big, imposing guy, the kind of person you wouldn’t expect to break down easily. But the second he saw his daughter in her wedding dress, he completely lost it. Tears, raw emotion, and pure love; it was impossible not to feel it.

Right after, we did a bridesmaids reveal, and it brought a completely different energy, excitement, cheers, and big reactions. Every single one of them looked incredible.

A Vibrant Beach Ceremony

This couple decided to skip the first look, choosing instead to see each other for the first time at the altar, and it paid off. Their ceremony took place on a beautiful beachside terrace at the Hilton Puerto Vallarta, with the ocean as their backdrop and all their guests waiting in anticipation.

And then… the entrances. Kurt kicked things off dancing his way down the aisle, setting the tone immediately. The bridal party followed, and everyone came in dancing. It was fun, different, and full of personality.

But when Cheyanna appeared, everything shifted. As she walked down the aisle, Kurt couldn’t hold back his tears. That reaction says everything. The ceremony was short but meaningful, featuring a sand ceremony to symbolize two lives becoming one.

Golden Hour Portraits in Banderas Bay

Right after the ceremony, guests moved into cocktail hour while we focused on family portraits and then quickly transitioned into sunset photos. If you’ve ever seen a sunset in Puerto Vallarta, you already know the light is unreal.

Soft golden tones and the perfect beach setting created an incredible backdrop for Cheyanna and Kurt. We even captured a full wedding party photo on the rocks by the shore, the perfect spot for a dramatic group shot.

Nonstop Party and Celebrationy

The reception started strong with their first dance, and from that moment on, the energy never dropped. Dinner followed with heartfelt, emotional speeches that brought everyone back into that intimate space again, a perfect balance to the high-energy moments of the day.

And then… the party. This group understood the assignment! The dance floor was packed all night with laughter and pure celebration. This Hilton Puerto Vallarta wedding was more than just a beautiful event; it was an experience from beginning to end.
