We first met the day before the big day for a laid back photo session in the hotel gardens. Later, the couple hosted a relaxed rooftop welcome party at Hotel Mousai’s stunning rooftop bar. It wasn’t formal, just cocktails, incredible views, and good vibes to kick off the celebration.

Getting Ready: Champagne, Dancing & Sweet Moments

On the wedding day, Krista got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids, and the energy in the room was pure joy, champagne was flowing, music was playing, and dancing was all around. Amidst the excitement, Krista took a quiet moment to write her vows, setting the tone for the emotional day ahead.

Meanwhile, Chase and his groomsmen were getting ready in their suite. Once they were dressed, they made their way back to the rooftop bar for a celebratory pre-ceremony drink, because, why not?

For their first look, we chose a tucked away terrace that offered the perfect mix of privacy and beauty. The moment they saw each other was electric. They read their vows in private, sharing their promises in a space that felt like it was just theirs. Intimate, emotional, and incredibly moving.

Afterward, we explored some of Hotel Mousai’s most photogenic spots with the bridal party. From amazing gardens and a wooden deck to the whimsical on-site carousel, every corner of the hotel was a photo dream.

Ceremony in the Sky: Tierra Luna Magic

The ceremony took place in Tierra Luna, in a breathtaking kind of palapa perched on a small mountain. With panoramic views of the ocean and jungle, it felt like something out of a fairytale. Though the couple had already exchanged vows in private, the ceremony was still deeply meaningful, and yes, there were happy tears!

Golden Hour Photos & a Carousel Moment

While guests enjoyed cocktails, I snuck away with the couple for some golden hour portraits. The light was pure magic, and we made sure to capture a few epic shots on the carousel, because if your venue has one, you have to use it right?

A Reception to Remember

The reception unfolded in the same stunning location as the ceremony. Huge kudos to the wedding planning team for transforming the space so seamlessly. Guests returned from cocktail hour to find everything beautifully set for dinner and dancing.
