Today, I want to share the story of Anneli and Gus’s stunning intimate oceanfront wedding in Puerto Vallarta. From our very first consultation call, I knew their day was going to have an incredibly relaxed and authentic energy. They were so easygoing throughout the entire planning process, and when the big day finally arrived, that same stress-free vibe set the tone for the entire celebration.
Getting Ready at the Two-Story Ocean Suite
The couple chose to get ready together, yet separately, in a spacious two-story suite overlooking the coast. Gus took the upper floor and got ready by himself in literally five minutes! Meanwhile, downstairs, Anneli enjoyed a peaceful morning getting ready alongside a close friend in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
Before the ceremony, they shared a romantic first look in the lush gardens of the property. After sharing a quiet, private moment, we explored the surrounding greenery for a few portraits before heading back to the suite for final touches. Both Anneli and Gus looked absolutely breathtaking and so genuinely excited for what was to come.

Having their ceremony right on the beach, steps away from the crashing waves, was easily the best decision they made. Nestled between tropical green hills and the sea, the backdrop offered unmatched views of the Pacific Ocean. The beach ceremony was short, intimate, and deeply meaningful to both of them and their closest loved ones.
Sunset Portraits: Golden Hour Magic
Right after the ceremony, while guests headed over to enjoy signature drinks during cocktail hour, we snuck away along the shore for sunset wedding portraits,which are forever my favorite!
The golden hour light in Puerto Vallarta never disappoints, and Anneli and Gus looked like absolute editorial models without even trying. Their natural connection and easygoing nature really shone through, creating effortless and romantic portraits against the coastline.
An Unforgettable Celebration by the Sea
Back at the reception area, a delicious dinner was served under the warm ocean breeze. After cutting the cake, the energy shifted into full celebration mode. Everyone knew their assignment: the party started immediately, and guests stayed on the dance floor all night long. It was truly an unforgettable night!
