Wedding photography is more than just pictures, it’s about capturing emotions, details, and moments that tell your unique love story. Every wedding unfolds through four key stages: getting ready, the formal session, the ceremony, and the reception. My approach is documentary-style, ensuring that every part of your day is authentically preserved. Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, I focus on storytelling through natural, candid images. Here’s a collection of my favorite photographs from each stage of the day.
Getting Ready
During the getting ready is all about excitement and anticipation. The bride and her crew are usually having a great time, getting their hair and makeup done, having a mimosa, sharing laughs, and maybe a few happy tears. Meanwhile, the groom and his guys are hanging out having a drink, putting on their suits, and cracking jokes. It’s a fun, chaotic and sometime messy time that sets the tone for the day, and capturing these moments shows all the behind-the-scenes emotions.
Formal Session
The formal session is when we get those gorgeous, posed shots of the couple. It’s the time for them to just be together and look amazing in their wedding outfits. Whether it’s their first look or some romantic portraits, this session is all about capturing their love in a beautiful setting. It’s a mix of posed shots and natural moments, making sure they look stunning and comfortable.
Ceremony
The ceremony is the moment where everything becomes real. The couple exchanges vows, maybe sheds a few tears, and officially ties the knot. Whether it’s on a beach, in a garden, or a cozy venue, this is the heart of the day. Capturing the raw emotions, the smiles, and the happy tears during the ceremony is what makes these photos so special.
Reception
Here is where the real party happens. It’s all about celebrating and having the best time. There’s usually amazing food, lots of drinks, and most importantly lots of dancing. Whether it’s the crazy dance moves, or the sweet moments, the reception is full of energy and fun. Getting these shots means capturing the joy and spirit of the celebration.
