Punta Mita Wedding at Casa Koko

A Relaxed Intimate Wedding at Casa Koko, Punta Mita

Today, I want to talk about Emily and Corey’s amazing wedding in Punta Mita. If you’ve been thinking about doing a wedding that’s both super luxury but also totally laid-back, you’re going to love this one.

The Perfect Luxury Venue: Casa Koko Punta Mita

Everything happened at Casa Koko, and I seriously need to start this blog by telling you how incredible this place is. It is the perfect luxury estate for an intimate wedding. It’s tucked away in a super exclusive area of Punta Mita, and it has this crazy beautiful oceanfront view that feels like your own private paradise. If you want to give your favorite people an unforgettable trip, this is definitely the spot.

Emily and Corey decided to have an intimate wedding with only 12 guests, and honestly, that made it extra special. Having just the right people with you is always the best decision. I keep saying that I love intimate weddings because everything feels so much more real and genuine, there are no awkward poses or pretentious vibes.

Getting Ready & Good Vibes

When I got to the villa, Corey was chilling on the terrace with some of the guests, and a few of them were still hanging out in the pool. It was literally the best, most relaxing way to start a wedding day.

On the other hand, Emily was already getting ready with her girls. The vibe in the room was great, everyone was just taking things easy and making sure everything went smoothly. When she put her dress on, she looked absolutely stunning!

One of my favorite moments was when her dad entered the room for a quick first look. Emily surprised him from behind, and it was so emotional, neither of them could hold back the happy tears. It was just a beautiful, real moment.

Back to Corey, it was time to suit up, so the guys gathered in the room and got ready in just a few minutes. He looked great and was completely ready to go. They did a quick toast to set the mood for the day, and it was so easy to see how happy he was. That was the best part!

A Beautiful Ceremony in the Garden

This couple decided not to see each other until the altar, which was the perfect choice for this wedding.

The ceremony was actually set up at the entrance of the house, which is a great open space with a lush garden in the background. It was officiated by the groom’s father, which made it even more meaningful. Even though it was a short ceremony, it felt absolutely perfect. When they spoke to each other and exchanged rings, you could just feel their happiness. Their expressions were priceless!

Golden Hour Portraits & Sunset Photos

The ceremony was followed by a quick cocktail hour at the main palapa where guests congratulated them. Right after that, we did some family pictures and then moved into the bridal portraits.

The light in Punta Mita was perfect, and Emily and Corey were totally all-in for their pictures, looking like absolute models. It was so fun, and of course, we had to finish the session with some sunset pics on the beach.

Dinner, Heartfelt Speeches, and Dancing

When we got back to the reception area, the guests were already seated at a beautifully decorated table back under the palapa.

Dinner was served and presented by the Casa Koko Chef, and it was amazing, not just how it looked, but the actual taste was out of this world. While everyone was eating, there were some heartfelt speeches that made them laugh and cry at the same time. This is exactly why I love intimate weddings: the connection between the couple and their guests is so deep that it makes every single moment feel way more special.

After dinner, they had their first dance, and even with a small guest count, they partied and had the absolute best time.

This is a wedding I’ll remember for a really long time. The location, the couple, the overall vibe… it was easily one of my favorites of the year so far!
